Chiropractic Adjustments
Chiropractic adjustments are a very safe, specific, and controlled force applied to a joint to restore proper function and mobility, which in turn supports the nervous system. Chiropractic adjustments reduce pain, increase movement and improve optimal health and well-being.
Whole Life Family Chiropractic offers many different techniques/styles of implementing adjustments:
Diversified: gentle hands-on Chiropractic Technique used to restore joint mobility and to reduce pain levels in both the spine and extremities. This technique is the most commonly used adjustment technique by chiropractors.
Thompson: A full-spine chiropractic adjusting technique that uses high-velocity, low amplitude, adjusting procedure using a drop table to assist in the correction of vertebral subluxation. Using the drop table allows the doctor to use less force, decreasing doctor fatigue and making it easier on the patient.
Logan-Basic: A very low force treatment that some chiropractors use. It involves the muscular structure that surrounds the sacrum and is used as a lever system. The doctor puts a light pressure on a leverage spot on the sacral bone while the patient is in a face down position. This technique is great for infants and toddlers.
Webster Protocol
Dr. Kelly is certified in the Webster technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
